After 3 flights, lots of aeroplane food and a feed of Arabic McDonald's I made it to Milan! It's been all go since I got here. I managed to buy myself a train ticket navigate my way out of the big central station and find my hotel, I even had a nice chat, as I walked, to some young Italian men who asked where I was from. By the time I arrived at the hotel I was feeling pretty exhausted after over 24hrs of travel and just wanted my bed - only to be told they had a problem with a few of the rooms and they were sending me to one of their other hotels down the street, eventually I made it to bed for a much needed rest. It was a quiet morning in Milan with it being Sunday so I took a nice stroll around the city before my train left for Monterosso - which is absolutely beautiful. It's very busy here lots of people enjoying the beach and summer and the delicious gelato everywhere! About to head out and have some yummy pizza for dinner and enjoy the weather and beautiful views.
